AyuResurgence was founded by Monjoy Kumar Choudhury who has been into diabetic research since 2005. He published his first research article in 2009 and since then has published a number of articles in national and international journal. He has taught in different colleges and universities in India. He had worked on nanotechnology in IIT kharagpur. He had presented his work in various national and international seminars including National University of Singapore. He was also a board member of the undergraduate programme of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) which is a central university based in shillong, Meghalaya, India.

Researching on diabetes he concluded that it is difficult to cure diabetes. Once a person has been diagnosed with diabetes in most cases the person becomes dependant on medicine. Most of the diabetic medicines have side effects and over a period of time if the persons fail to control his sugar level it would lead to diabetic complications.

In his quest for better management of sugar during diabetes he came across Stevia whose leaves are sweet in taste. This sweetness of the leaves is due to the presence of the various steviol glycosides that also possesses therapeutic potential. Some of the commonly found stevia glycosides which provide its sweetness are dulcoside A, isosteviol, Rebaudioside A, Rebaudioside B, Rebaudioside C, Rebaudioside D, Rebaudioside F, Rubusoside, Steviolbioside, Steviol and Stevioside.

With the ever increasing cost of diabetic treatment and the side effects of its medicines it has become an economic burden. For a normal diabetic patient he/she has to spend approximately 7000/ INR from a good hospital along with his medicinal cost. One of the major causes for the higher sugar levels is the food that we eat is the presence of sugar (cane sugar) and artificial sweeteners which has low calories are actually harmful for our health. So if a calorie conscious person consumes artificial sweeteners he/she is more likely to develop health problems. With the non availability of health beneficial sweetener AyuResurgence brings to you AyuStevia which contains steviol glycosides that not only taste sweeter than normal can sugar but also possess health benefits. The real deal to enjoy life is to make life sweeter while maintaining the health by including AyuStevia into the diet whose sweetness is due to its molecules that possesses anti diabeti, anti inflammatory, insulin secretory, antioxidant and anti cancer properties. Since the molecules of AyuStevia contains these health benefits it is likely that long term usage of AyuStevia can result in health benefits and centuries of Stevia usage has not resulted in any side effects worldwide.

What is Stevia?
Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni belongs to the Asteraceae family of plants and is a native of South America. In India it is also known as sweet tulasi. Since centuries people in Paraguay and brazil have been using Stevia as a natural sweetener and japan was the first country in asia to market stevioside (extract from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana) as a sweetening agent. The white extract from the leaves of the plant is 300 to 400 times sweeter than sucrose with a bitter aftertaste. The sweet taste of the extract can be attributed to the presence of steviol glycosides present in the leaves. It can be considered as zero calorie sweetener.
Stevia also has therapeutic efficiencies and some of them include:stevia
